Foxiny: lingerie with the details written down

Foxiny makes lingerie, and the decision that shapes everything else here is not about lingerie at all. It is that almost nobody selling it tells you what turns up in the parcel.

A photograph shows a woman in a lace top, a thong, a garter belt and stockings. Whether one of those is for sale or all four is the single most important fact about the purchase, and it is the one most often left off the page. So the piece count sits on every card in this range, next to the fabric and the size.

The studio designs the cut, chooses the fabric, specifies the trim and decides what goes in the set. What we can tell you about a piece is what it is made of, what size run it exists in, how many garments come with it, and where it will let you down.

Two of those letdowns are worth printing rather than burying. Sheer means sheer, in daylight, from any angle, and nobody has ever been pleased to discover that at the wrong moment. And a one-piece has to fit two places at once, so a body that takes different sizes top and bottom is better served by a two-piece.

Fabric is the second decision and the one that changes how a piece behaves rather than how it photographs. Sheer mesh breathes and shows. Floral lace carries weight and texture and hides more than people expect. Satin slides, stays cool and creases where it folds. Each of those is named on the card, taken from what the maker publishes.

Sizes here run from 3X-Small to 7X-Large, which is longer than most lingerie ranges bother with. Not every piece exists in every size, so the ladder on the home page counts what each department actually carries instead of reprinting a chart that covers nothing.

The seven departments are pages rather than filters, and that is deliberate. Somebody buying a nightgown to sleep in and somebody buying a four-piece set are not shopping the same shop, and the thing worth knowing about a bustier is not the thing worth knowing about a chemise.
